Mara Okafor

Mara opened Ironbound in 2017 after a decade across shops in Oakland and Portland. She tattoos bold-line American traditional and clean script, and keeps the heaviest, most-loved binder on the wall.

“I draw everything bold enough to read across a room and built to hold up for decades. Bring me an idea or pull a sheet — both are welcome.”
