Take care of the art.
Every client leaves with a written aftercare card and a direct line to their artist. Here is the full guide — bookmark it for healing.
Tattoo aftercare
Healing takes about two weeks on the surface and a month or more underneath. Be gentle, be patient, and don’t pick.
Leave the initial bandage on for 2–4 hours, or as your artist directs — longer for second-skin film.
Wash gently with clean hands, lukewarm water, and a fragrance-free antibacterial soap. No washcloths or scrubbing.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel and let it air-dry a few minutes.
Apply a thin layer of fragrance- and alcohol-free moisturizer. Don’t over-moisturize — let scabs flake on their own.
Wash once or twice daily and moisturize for at least two weeks. Don’t pick or scratch peeling skin.
No soaking — skip baths, pools, the ocean, and saunas for ~3 weeks. Showers are fine.
Keep it out of direct sun while healing; once healed, always use SPF to protect the ink.
Redness, warmth, or oozing past a few days? Message your artist — we’ll help.
Piercing aftercare
Saline twice daily, hands off the jewelry, and patience. Healing times vary by placement — ask us if anything looks off.
Wash your hands before touching anywhere near a new piercing.
Spray sterile saline (0.9% NaCl) twice daily to fully saturate the piercing.
Do not twist, rotate, or play with the jewelry.
Avoid alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, ointments, and harsh soaps.
Keep makeup, hair products, and dirty bedding off the area — use a clean pillowcase.
No swimming or submerging (pools, lakes, hot tubs) until fully healed.
Continue saline for the full healing period, not just the first weeks.
Book a downsizing appointment at 4–6 weeks to prevent migration and irritation.
